Hermagis 'Stereoscope Sphere Parallele' (various)

medium sized and large version of the Brewster type stereoscopes produced by the well known Parisian optician Hermagis, both with black lacquer finish, rack and pinion focus operated with a hand wheel and the brass makers label mounted on one side, both viewers viewer shows signs of wearing, the wooden eye pieces have cracks caused by tension, the rack and pinion focussing is working, but the mechanism is somehow weak. Even if their condition is not perfect, this rare Hermagis stereoscopes are still highly collectable and interesting viewers. (2)
