Hektor 6.3/2.8cm 'German Navy'
one of 3 known Hektor 2.8cm lenses for the German Navy, engraved on rear 'W.haven' with 'Reichsadler' + 'M', in very good condition (caps), with small leather case marked 'E.LEITZ BERLIN N.W.', Reichsadler and 'WaA217' ('Waffen Amt', see Lager Vol. I p.95), delivered to Berlin (Bln) on August 23rd, 1943 (delivery number 9839), see VIDOM 103 p.13. Lens no.580140 from the same batch and with the same engraving is shown in Lager I page 95, in total only 30 lenses were delivered to the German Navy.
