Hektor 2.5/12cm prototype *
an extremely rare high-speed telephoto lens, from a small batch of only 14 lenses issued for testing purposes in 1949 (all later production lenses were 12.5cm), designed to work with Visoflex I, also usable on Visoflex II with the OUBIO extension tube. The offered lens is in beautiful, near-mint condition, with very good optics (only minimal cleaning marks). The 12cm Hektor is one of the rarest Leica lenses, and this is one of the best examples known to exist.
