For the 70th anniversary of the death of the famous Austrian photographer Heinrich Kühn (1866-1944) we can offer beside his personal camera (see previous lot) but also a very important documentation including: (1)13 unpublished B&W prints (some vintage, approx.1942) showing Kuehn working with his Stegemann Studien Camera in Birgitz (exactly this camera is offered in the previous lot) and in his home in Birgitz. (2) the original correspondence between Heinrich Kühn and Marian Schwabik in Munich including 9 typewritten and signed letters, 2 hand written postcards - all between 1935-1937 with very interesting content regarding Kuehn's work. (3) 3 mint exhibition catalogues: Heinrich Kuehn Photographien, Innsbruck 1976. Heinrich Kuehn 110 Bilder, Museum Folkwang, Essen 1978. Heinrich Kuehn 100 Photographien, Muenchen 1981. (4) various related material including original reports from newspapers.
