35mm, motion picture portable projector, hand-cranked intermittent, electric luminant and transformer, focusing lens, film winder and spool, fitted in original wooden case, mechanism stamped System Hansen S.G.D.G. D.R.G.M. PATENTED 20TH FEB 1906, together with a contemporary printed advertisement of the projector; George Mendel an important French film pioneer developed this portable projector in an attempt to break into the domestic film projection market. Mendel also made an unusual combined cine/still camera marketed as Le Triomphe and Citoscope which could be used together with this projector to form an extremely portable outfit
