rare and beautiful lantern in the shape of a factory made by George Carette of Nuremberg, mounted on the front the makers label 'G.C.&Co.' with an embossed image of the Statue of Freedom, painted tin body with printed windows and brickwork, original brass lens, one of the original metal feet has been substituted and it seems that the lantern has been converted to electric illumination once, otherwise in complete and original condition.
