early French hand-cranked 35mm movie camera, the wooden box-shaped body is covered with black kidskin, engraved on the front: "Societe des Etablissements GAUMONT Paris", E.Krauss Tessar 3.5/50mm no.117472, the camera is complete and in good working condition, it comes with two interchangeable magazines (nos.1400 & 1403) and a matching wooden tripod. An authentic and beautiful outfit from the early days of cinematography.
