One of the first Soviet telephoto lenses in M39 mount, made as a prototype only for the earliest black Fedka cameras. An interesting feature of this special lens is the retrofocus design - quite unique for a pre-war construction - the lens keeps the same length when focused. Judging by the serial number the lens was made about 1935 - it wasn't until 1938 when interchangeable lenses for FED cameras began to be mass-produced at other Soviet factories. The lens is in very good condition, comes with an original GOI wooden keeper with matching serial number.
