Very interesting prototype of the chrome Elmarit 2.8/90 with a slightly different head from the later production lens, note the unusual serial number 0000xxx (instead of 000xxx), in near-mint condition, optics showing a light haze and few light cleaning marks, the lens with no.0000925 with completely different head and barrel style can be seen in Paul-Henry van Hasbroeck 'The Leica - A History Illustrating Every Model and Accessory' p.203, with both caps.
