One of the fastest and rarest lenses made by ELCAN (Ernst Leitz Canada). It was designed by Walter Mandler and only 10 examples were made to special order for the US-Navy - the offered lens is the 7th made and is in beautiful, near-mint condition. It comes with 3 focusing distance rings (for 20m, 100m and infinity); the optics are very good, with stickers 'U.S.NAVY PROPERTY' + 'NAVPHOTOCEN, WASH.,D.C.' and a sticker with contract number '62844-101021', comes with original front cap. It is one of the most impressive lenses made for M cameras and a unique opportunity for Leica collectors!
