A rare and very early convertible lens from Darlot, made circa 1864. The lens includes two elements with focal lengths of 27 and 39cm (engraved accordingly), which can be used separately or combined for a focal length of approximately 14cm. The lens is in fine condition for its age; two small pins are missing, but this does not affect functionality. The optics remain perfectly usable, with only minor scratches. Total height is 5.5cm, and the front and rear element diameters are 4cm.
