early wide angle large format brass lens, focal length c.50cm (!), total height 13cm, with three swing-out stops marked 7, 9 and 12, the design derives from Harrison's Globe and improves it by using different lens curvatures for front and rear element, the lens is in very good condition, optics with only minimal flaws, extremely rare in this large size
