nice collection of three German lanterns equipped to project 35mm film, each approx. 35-40cm high, (1) Ernst Plank tin lantern with 'Russian Iron' finish mounted on wooden panel, significant crank operated large diameter transmission wheel on the right side, rotary shutter, brass made Malteser-intermission movement and sprocket wheel, complete with the original chimney, lens and film spool, embossed E.P. makers label on the front, later conversion to electric illumination, (2) Jean Falk, this model is not documented, but quite similar to the 1900 George Carette lantern, black lacquer finish, crank operated Malteser-intermission movement, complete with the original chimney, lens and film spool, the rotary shutter is missing, embossed 'J.F.' makers label on the front, (3) Gebrüder Bing, dark brown lacquer finish, brass made crank operated pull down mechanism, rotary shutter, with the original petrol burner, the chimney is not from this lantern but contemporary, the spool is missing, otherwise in nice condition.
