extensive selection of more than 400 German Chromoplast stereographs, a few cards without envelopes, the rest, 38 complete sets in their original envelope: Ägypten II, Algier I, Amalfi-Sorrent, Ausländische Schmetterlinge I, Baalbek, Capri I, Dolomiten I, II, Essbare und giftige Pilze, Garda-See, Hamburg I, Jerusalem I, II, Kochel u. Mittenwald , Meran , Neueste Frontaufnahmen I, II, Oberammergau u. Umgebung, Palästina I, Palmgarten I, Pompeji, Rhein I,II, III, Rom I, II, Rothenburg o. Tauber, Salzburg u. Berchtesgaden, Schliersee u. Tegernsee, Schloss Herrenchiemsee, Schweiz I, II, III, Stuttgart I, Tunis-Karthago, Vögel I, Von Nah und Fern , Winterbilder. The Chromoplast images were produced and published by the "Verlag der Farbenphothographischen Gesellschaft m. b. H." in Stuttgart around 1910, since colour photography was still in its early stages at this time, printing was almost the only way to reproduce colour images. Same as the American Ingersoll stereo views, the pictures were either taken with 3 colour-cameras such as a Dr. Miethe or coloured by hand as was normal with the Kaiserpanorama slides.(c.400)
