Carl Zeiss Jena Asem Monocular
The monocular Carl Zeiss Asem telescope actually is half an Asembi Telsescope, dating from World War I. Like the 'Starmor' it has a ocular revolver, yet with 12, 20 and 40 times magnification. Magnification are marked near the oculars with an arrow pointing from the number to them. When turned the revolver snaps in at the right position by means of a spring lever that locks into a groove. Every ocular has a dioptre adjustment. All parts are made of black lacquered brass including the eyecups. The weight of this rare item is 6kg
