very rare high-end binocular telescope in exceptional, near mint condition, clean lenses, developed by Zeiss for the battlefield surveillance during WWI, each side equipped with ocular turret, each with three oculars: 12x, 20x and 40x, with extendable sun shades, front caps, large original field tripod made from Pitch Pine, carrying case for the tripod and telescope, this at the time extremely expensive telescope is civilian without military markings, the cost price in 1935 was 1.050 USD which is the double price of a Ford 1936 V8 car!
