Beautiful bronze casting portrait of Oscar Banack to commemorate the inauguration of Leica GmbH in 1988, made by Heinrich Janke (1930-2023), famous German artist, he studied sculpture and design, was a student of Hermann Scheuernstuhl and gained experience in the studio of the Düsseldorf sculptor Ewald Mataré. in 1954, he took over the management of the design department in the photo division at Leitz and contributed to the final design of the M3. This unique piece was made on special order by the artist himself and is an exact duplicate of the original, 58.7 x 38.1cm and 12.9kg.
