adorable compilation of American, English and German stereo cards showing children and childhood scenes, all in good or slightly used condition, (1) 9 cards published by the "American Stereoscopic Company" showing children with their pets, picking flowers, sleeping or pillow fighting, all in good condition, (2) 6 cards with similar themes on earlier prints by "Underwood & Underwood", (3) 8 cards by the "Continental Stereoscopic Company" with German titles, mainly comic or fairytale-like scenery, (4) 3 early English cards by "Permanent Stereoscopic Photographs" showing girls waiting for Santa Claus, a doll school lesson and little Red Riding Hood, (5) 3 cards by "The Great Western View Co", 2 cards by "The ‘Perfec’ Stereograph" and 3 German cards by "Allgem. Deutsche Kunst-Verein, Berlin" showing various scenes from everyday life, (6) 4 Christmas related cards, two of them showing Santa at work, on the other two children are unpacking their presents under the Christmas tree.(38)
