A rare late example of Nikon’s first production camera, the Nikon One, no.609718, from 1949. Produced only from 1948–49 in the unusual 24×32mm “Nippon format”, the Nikon I serial sequence ended at approximately no.609758/609759, placing this camera among the final examples made. It is the late version with four film guide rails, fixed take-up spool and matching serial number inside the back door. In excellent original condition, with early Nikkor-H.C 2/5cm no.70879, early leather case and original maker’s box.
