The photos were taken in 1932 on Otto Schönstein's honeymoon. The journey by train and boat led the couple through the Brenner Pass to Bolzano, Venice, Chioggia (30 km from Venice), Ancona, Bari and Sicily (Catania, Taormina, Nicolosi).
