The Noctilux-M 1.25/75mm ASPH. was introduced in 2017 as one of the most remarkable lenses of the Leica M system, combining exceptionally high speed with extremely shallow depth of field and outstanding optical performance.
The lens offered here, no.4693560, is one of the rare prototypes produced during the development of the 75mm Noctilux for testing purposes. Its serial number clearly precedes the ranges known from regular production, and the lens is additionally distinguished by the engraving “Prototyp B” near the mount.
The lens is in excellent condition, showing only slight signs of use, and comes with front and rear caps and the original tripod adapter.
