French half-automatic Carte de Visite camera for 12 exposures 35x35mm on one 13x18cm glass negative, black enamel finish, Boyer Saphir 4.5/105mm no.148588, shutter mounted in front of the lens. The ingenious, crank-activated mechanism moves the plate for the next exposure and releases the shutter, complete with it’s original heavy wooden tripod. A scarce, almost unknown camera in perfect working order and great cosmetic condition.
