In fact this camera is a factory internal used Leica M2 which was provided with a test engraving to partially encrypt the serial number. This encryption system (similar to Hasselblad) should prevent customers to identify the age of the camera. Included are the original documents of Mr. Kruger from the operating department to the technical department of Leitz from August 14th, 1959
