Rare unusual shaped 9cm Elmar for M39, prototype of the 3-element Elmar engraved 'Eigentum der Ernst Leitz GmbH Wetzlar' (Property of Ernst Leitz GmbH Wetzlar), from a small batch of approx. 50 lenses, a similar lens is illustrated in Lager II, page 126, in almost mint condition, optics only showing a few minimal cleaning marks, with both caps.
