Extremely rare prototype of the PC-Nikkor 3.5/35mm, apparently of the same type as the “Prototype B” illustrated in Nikon’s original instruction manual.
The lens shows no maker’s or specification markings and differs from the later production version in its style of operating controls and noticeably smaller shift range.
A highly interesting developmental example of Nikon’s pioneering perspective-control lens.
