An original, highly sought-after Leica M2 black paint, the fifth camera from a rare batch of 250 cameras equipped with a self-timer (1005101–1005350). Originally delivered to Munich on 11 January 1961, the camera exhibits an outstanding, honest patina and pronounced brassing acquired through many years of professional use. It is accompanied by its matching black paint Leicavit, which has retained only traces of its original finish. Both the camera and the Leicavit are engraved with the names of previous owners.
