a beautiful selection of three French graphoscopes and one stereoscope, all with black lacquer finish and decorated with identical hand-painted floral design, each in very good or perfect condition, (1) large box-shaped stereo graphoscope with punched and engraved metal corners, a narrow drawer is concealed in the lower section of the viewer, two of the pads have been replaced, otherwise in very nice condition, when closed 22x36x13cm, (2) collapsible stereo graphoscope, a pivot allows switching between magnification and stereo view, in beautiful condition, when closed 26x44x11cm, (3) pocket sized graphoscope for postcards, minor wear, when closed 9x14x3cm, (4) Brewster type stereoscope with adjustable focus in near mint condition, original screen and mirror. A rare and exceptionally well-preserved set.
