An exceptionally rare prototype of the 6-element Summicron 50mm—at first glance, it may resemble the more common 'transitional' version, but in reality, it shares no components with that lens. This unique prototype stands nearly 6mm taller, and even the front element features a different diameter. Engraved with prototype number 0000748, it is offered in beautiful, near-mint condition.
