Summaron 2.8/35mm Aluminium prototype *
an interesting, early Summaron 35mm, finished in lightweight aluminium instead of the standard chromed brass - the lens weighs only 134 grams vs 182 grams for the later models, moreover, Leica Archives doesn't show any delivery data for the lenses from the batch 1627601-1627625, suggesting that these lenses might have been samples for internal use. The lens is in beautiful, near-mint condition, with very good optics.
