Peep Box

French, transportable peep box (28x19x47cm) by unknown maker, wooden box with two lenses on one side, the peep box has one large opening to direct the light onto the image. It comes with two hand painted images by Mart. Engelbrecht (nos. 2209 + 2210, each 15.5x21.5cm in size). The box is in fully original condition except for the lenses which have been re-newed.
