An unique and very impressive mirror lens, possibly a prototype or made to order, about 2500mm focal length, in Leica R mount, front lens diameter almost 40cm, weight approx. 31kg, internally engraved on the metering scale with "Helipot Corp. So. Pasadena California", in grey paint, possibly indicating its military background. According to the former owner, this lens was once in the possession of Dr. Wangrosch, the then director of the Leitz Museum, Wetzlar. However, there is no proof for this and the lens is most unlikely coming from any of the Leitz factories.
