Magic Lantern
rare American lantern by an unknown maker, cylindrical tin body with the original chimney and two handles made of bound wire on the rear, original copper tone finish, the base plate is missing otherwise in original condition with beautiful patina. An almost identical lantern presumably by the same maker is depicted in Hrabalek page 156 which is labeled “Patent August 1882”, height: 30cm
