one reel of 35mm Lumiére film in a rare original tin film canister with the makers label stamped into the lid, the filmstrip is perforated complying to the Lumière standard with one circular hole on either side of the frame, it is very well preserved and shows no mechanical damage or signs of chemical disintegration. One of four original Lumiere films being sold at this auction featuring shots form the Military riding school in Saumur in west of France, with the title: ‘Ecole de cavalerie de Saumur, le carrousel militaire: le quatre grands circles.’
