very rare 3-color camera, format 6x13cm, plaque engraved: LE MELANOCHROMOSCOPE de Louis DUCOS du HAURON Brevete France et Etranger L. LESUEUR & DUCOS DU HAURON PARIS, fixed focus achromatic lens, ground-glass focusing screen. This color separation camera takes three exposures on one plate, it does not use a shutter and may be used as a camera for taking exposures and as a chromoscope for viewing them, extremely rare and in the even rarer format 6x13cm, in very fine original condition, one of less than ten examples known to exist.
