During the 1970s, Leitz developed a non-contact speed measurement device for vehicles. The set offered here is most likely a prototype of such a system. It includes a photoelectric sensor with a handle, connected to a sound-generating unit. The sensor is equipped with a Leica M-mount and comes with a Summicron-C 2/40mm lens, serial no. 2745371. The set appears to be in working condition and comes with its original box.
