Beautiful extremely rare pre-series of the first version Leicaflex, used for evaluation before the productions commenced, in very good condition, note the absence of serial number, the pie shaped frame counter, early tripod socket, no engraving around the back opening button, together with a matching, very rare Summicron 2/50mm chrome, pre-series no.2000775, note the absence of 'Summicron-R' or 'Leitz Wetzlar' engravings, with metal hood, front lens cap and maker's box, a similar set with lens no.2000804 can be seen in J. Lager 'Leica An Illustrated History' Vol. I p.266.
