Special edition Leicaflex SL produced on the occasion of the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. This commemorative version was made in limited numbers and supplied to officials and selected recipients, marking Leica’s close association with professional sports photography of the era. This particular example is bearing a lucky edition number '888' (body no.1367721) and is in beautiful, near-mint condition, it comes with a Summicron-R 2/50mm no.2157229, hood, lens cap and a leather case. What makes the offered camera even more special is the black finish - the Leicaflex SL Olympic was produced exclusively in a silver finish with only a very small number of black examples known.
