Leica Meter D prototype

An extremely rare prototype light meter, designed in the 1980s as a potential replacement for the Leicameter MR-4, produced by AFAB Electronics, Inc. (Texas, USA). A distinctive feature of this meter is the digital readout displayed in a small window on the back – hence the 'D' designation. It is powered by a PX28 battery and is preserved in excellent cosmetic condition and in good working order. The meter is offered complete with its original foam keeper.
