The MP-6 was made for the Japanese market only. It was a hommage to the legendary black paint MP from the 1950s. Although 400 were supposed to be made, only around 250 made it out onto the market. It is based on a regular Leica MP, with special black paint finish, special covering and different engravings on the top plate. The offered example is in mint, unused condition and comes with all papers, accessories and maker's box. Included is a matching, mint Leicavit M in black paint finish.
