Extremely rare preseries model of the Leica MD (production starting with no.1102501), without finder, note also the absence of flash synchronisation, no cut-out in the chassis for the registration strips and no mention of the model, in very good condition and working order, only showing some signs of use, with body cap, a similar camera with the no.980430 can be seen in J. Lager 'Leica An Illustrated History' Vol. I on page 216
