Early version olive paint Leica M3 “Bundeswehr” in good original condition and in working order, engraved “Bundeseigentum 12-121-5418” on the rear of the top plate, with screw-mount Summaron 3.5/3.5cm no.1563235. When the West German Army (Bundeswehr) was established in 1955, a number of Leica M cameras have been ordered in olive finish. Less than 300 Leica M3 cameras have been prepared in this special finish. The camera offered comes from a batch 927671 to 927734 issued in 1958.
