Leica M3 olive Bundeseigentum Special *
One of the most unusual examples of the M3 olive - the camera shows an early, 1959, serial number and long strap lugs, but the green vulcanite is of the later type. The research in the Leica Archives revealed that this camera was delivered in a small batch to the German Military on 22.09.1964, in a similar period as the cameras from the 11XXXXX batch! The camera is in beautiful condition, with an attractive patina around the edges and small bubbles appearing in the paint. It comes with a Bundeseigentum Elmar 3.5/5cm no.1335666 and an olive-green case stamped on the back with Bundeseigentum and contract number.
