Leica M3 Chrom-Muster 2 prototype *
An early prototype Leica M3, produced as a sample for the chrome finish, engraved on the top plate and inside the base plate with "Chrom-Muster 2". Interestingly, this example shows no flash contact symbols engraved, an uncommon and noteworthy feature. The camera is in beautiful, near-mint condition, and comes with a matching unnumbered Elmar 2.8/5cm lens.
