I Mod. A Elmax
this new discovery is the most early camera known to exist (production of the 'Elmax' Leica I Mod. A with 5-element Elmax started around no.250), in original condition (first version, similar to the Anastigmat cameras), ratcheted film wind, early finder, vulcanite, mushroom shutter release, base-plate (auf-zu), black cap - it is extremely hard to find cameras in original condition as most early Elmax cameras have been upgraded during servicing by Leitz with removing original parts, with expertise by Ottmar Michaely
