The second known example of the Helios-40 prototype (the lens no.51015033 can be seen in Mladek 'Interessante Kameras und Objektive der ehemaligen Sowjetunion' on page 49), brass body in chrome finish, made to very high standards by GOI, Kiev/Contax mount (the production version was made in SLR mount only), here offered with an unnumbered Kiev III body, in beautiful, near mint condition, with very good optics
