An extremely rare ultraviolet (UV) lens in M42 mount, built with three elements in three groups, all made of special glass with high UV transmission. Intended for scientific and forensic photography, such lenses were produced only in very small numbers, most likely on special order. The offered example is in mint condition, complete with caps and the original maker’s box.
