Carl Zeiss Jena f. Exakta Sonnar 2/7cm prototype *

a very exciting discovery from the history of Zeiss - one of only two 7cm Sonnars ever made! The Zeiss delivery records lists this lens and the lens no.2183261 as the only two prototypes made (both issued on 21.10.1937, special number V27). The offered example is in beautiful, near-mint condition, with very good optics. It has been made to very high standards and finished in heavy brass mount. It is also a very compact lens considering the 7cm focal length and high maximal aperture of f:2. It is a unique opportunity for Zeiss collectors!
