an extremely rare variant of the Jena Contax II, with the front plate finished in black paint; the camera is in good, unrestored condition, comes with a matching Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 2/5cm no.3090355, lens cap and leather case, most probably only 4 to 6 examples of this rare Contax variation have been made, included in this lot is detailed expertise from a known Zeiss expert Mr Bernd K. Otto, confirming the originality of this extraordinary camera
