English, magic lantern attachment, the brass and black enamelled body engraved "C & F Darker, Makers, Lambeth, London", with polarizing glass, condenser, slide stage and Nicol prism analyser, with two slides of crystals which give colourful effects when projected. The projection polariscope was used to demonstrate the effects of polarized light at could be attached to a magic lantern lamp house or other bright light source for projection.
