Extremely rare, red-painted underwater housing made for the US Army, with built-in wide angle Elcan 90°/2.8 no.240-0037, number 8 printed in front and rear part of the housing, the device is in very good condition, included is a near mint Leica M4 no.1230695, total production number for this underwater housing is unknown, less then 10 are known to exist in various collections worldwide. This offered lot can be seen in colour, published in Lager I 'Cameras' on page 160.
